​INTRODUCTION

The Lodestone’s Say Play Programme is specifically intended for children aged 3 to 7 years old with delayed speech development or stammers. Through fun and engaging session, children will be coached to pronounce words right, bring out sounds they find difficulty producing, Speak clearly and take control of their stammers. This alternative speech coaching method is designed to help children who may already be going for speech therapy practice, children who have not benefitted from speech therapy or children who just need that little kick start to speaking fluently.

OBJECTIVE

1. To achieve fluency in speaking
2. Assist child to better pronounce words
3. Assist child to speak full sentences without stammers
4. Providing tools and methods to be able to speak clearly and fluently
5. Understanding and using language - using words, sentences and telling stories
6. Social uses of communication - using facial expression, body language and gesture when greeting people, playing with peers, holding a conversation, etc.
7. Clarity of speech, including the ability to produce and combine the speech sounds of the child's language

INTRODUCTION

Lodestone's Preschool English Programme is specifically intended for children who would benefit from early intervention or whose basic reading or phonics and language development skills are not as per expected standards as determined by the local educational institutions. Lodestone’s Pre School English Programme will develop and strengthen child’s Phonics, Phoneme Blending, Early Reading, Pronunciation, and Word Recognition.

Children will be coached in a fun filled environment that not only preserves their interest for the moment but also instils an idea that learning can be fun.
